I’ve loved taking photographs as far back as I can remember. Every summer holiday my mum present my sister and I a disposable camera each and off we'd go snapping photos of anything that caught our attention, cars and motorbikes, sandcastles, animals or even arm length photos of ourselves; I am pretty sure we invented the selfie, before cameras had screens or memory cards (skillz). The excitement of going to Boots to get our photos developed holds many fond memories for me, waiting for them to be printed off and delivered back to me in a thick paper envelope along with the negatives… I couldn’t help but hold each negative up to the light to make sure all the photos had been printed.
There’s nothing in particular that I love photographing, like my disposable camera days, I’m still snapping anything that catches my attention but nowadays it’s with my Sony A7iii or iPhone.
